LIAS Board of Directors Meeting for the year 2022

The Board of Directors of the Libya Institute for Advanced Studies (LIAS) met today to review the work of the Institute for the 2021 period and to present its work plans for the year 2022.

Plans for 2022 include deepening cooperation with universities and research centers that partner with LIAS, establishing new partnerships in key research areas, resuming online teaching and developing new educational and academic projects, strengthening LIAS branches in the east, south and west of country, organising new set of conferences, seminars and workshops in vital sectors, and continuing to upgrade policy ideas for Ihya Vision 2030.

The Board of Directors confirmed that they will be celebrating the 10th anniversary of the founding of the Libya Institute for Advanced Studies, and will be commissioning a documentary series detailing the wide ranging activities and critical work of the Institute, and its decade-long journey and effort in capacity building in Libya.
