Stabilization
National recovery is contingent on stability. Building resilient institutions demands the restoration of the social fabric and strengthening bonds between government and local stakeholders. Ensuring unity, social cohesion, civil rights and a robust institutional base requires acute understanding and sensitivity of local culture and the needs and aspirations of all the many social groups that form the nation.
LIAS-DS brings extensive knowledge and experience of the country’s political and social landscape, years of research into critical issues and active participa- tion in the stabilization process.
The LIAS-DS stabilization courses include:
- Conflict sensitivity training
- Mediation skills
- Stakeholder engagement.
LIAS was founded in 2012 in response to the need for quality, private education options in post-Revolution Libya.
Our vision is to build a stable, democratic, and prosperous Libya
