A group of sessions for the Tebawi Culture Salon at the LIAS
Within the framework of cooperation between the Libya Academy for Advanced Studies and the Tebawi Culture Salon, the Libya Academy hosted during the month of June 2022 at its headquarters in the city of Benghazi a group of sessions and meetings supervised and organized by the Tebawi Culture Salon, and managed by A. Zakaria al-Tabawi, head of the Tebawi Culture Salon Organization, and with him A. Abdul Al-Karim Hassan, Executive Director of the Tebawi Culture Salon.
The meetings and sessions included a group of young people, activists, notables and interested parties.
The title of the first was: Challenges of Tebu youth, and the following topics were highlighted:
Challenges and difficulties faced by young people.
Programs and plans to raise the capabilities of youth.
Training courses to advance youth.
The meetings and other sessions also included a number of Tebu notables in the city of Benghazi, to talk about the plans, projects and activities of the Tebu Culture Salon, including: the Hope Project in the city of Kufra.
Another meeting was held entitled: Reality through the Eyes of the People of the South, in which the Forum of the People of the South participated, which includes the tribes: “The Toubou, the Tuareg, the Mahamid, the Hasouneh, and the Sons of Suleiman.” The focus was on the suffering of the youth of the South, their various challenges, and how to address them. Tribal notables also spoke about the most important problems they face and their proposals regarding them. . In addition to a brief explanation of the future plans of the Tebawi Culture Salon and its partners.
