Yesterday, Saturday, February 4, 2023, in the hall of the Libya Academy for Advanced Studies, Benghazi, in cooperation with the Libyan-European Institute, a one-day workshop entitled: [Qualifying Engineers for the Labor Market] was concluded.
The course was presented by the consultant trainer, Eng. Ayman Al-Aqouri, a certified trainer with the General Federation of Training Institutions, and a consulting engineer with several private and public companies. A group of young engineering graduates and workers in various engineering fields participated in the course.
The workshop covered both the practical and theoretical parts of some of the equipment of engineers and contractors, learning about types of concrete, types of cement stone (Hurdy) and concrete materials, how to evaluate buildings, the basics of proper construction, and how to work on correcting errors to build a better building.
The trainer also touched on the requirements of the labor market in the engineering field, and the types of engineering specializations that should be studied, specialized in, and trained to implement.
