LIAS organized a session: Wildlife…Challenges and Solutions.
On the occasion of World Wildlife Day, it was held at the headquarters of the Libya Academy for Advanced Studies, in Benghazi, on Thursday, March 3, 2022 AD.

The goal is to highlight the importance of the diversity of wildlife in the Libyan natural environment, introduce it, and propose solutions and recommendations to confront the challenges facing living organisms, animals, plants, and insects in the local natural environment.

* Wild species of animal and plant life that are rare, endangered or extinct in Libya
* The dangers that threaten plant and animal species and what are the ways to protect them
The session concluded with recommendations
1. Activating and implementing environmental protection legislation
2. Moving toward cultivating alternative species to species threatened with extinction, in coordination with specialists and in a manner appropriate to the Libyan environment.
3. Stop the depletion of natural resources through the agricultural police, environmental police, and municipal guards to stop the dangers to which they are exposed
4. Supporting research and studies financially and morally
5. Raising the level of environmental awareness of the importance of the environment and its preservation
6. Establishing and caring for natural reserves
