As part of its plan for awareness, education, training, skills transfer and improvement, the Training Department at the Libya Academy for Advanced Studies organized a training course entitled: “Rhetoric, the Art of Public Speaking and Influence,” for an hour and a half, presented by Mr. Salah Al-Abbar, Director of the Training Department at the Libya Academy for Advanced Studies.
The trainer spoke with simplified examples of the art of public speaking and influencing the audience, and how to acquire this skill. He also talked about rhetoric and persuasion skills, good speech and how to prepare it, pre-delivery procedures, and body language, which is considered one of the most important arts of public speaking and influencing. He also pointed out the secrets of confronting the audience. How to avoid embarrassment with the audience, attract attention, and optimally prepare the correct information.
