Prof. Dr. Aref Ali Nayed visited the President of the Libya Academy for Advanced Studies, on Tuesday 6/8/2021 at the Libyan International University for Medical Sciences, and was briefed on the distinguished experience of this university, its outputs, its scientific status, and its pioneering work.
He was received by the Acting President of the University Council, Dr. Al-Senussi Al-Taher, Vice Dean for Scientific Affairs and Dean of the College of Oral and Dental Medicine and Surgery.
He also toured the Training and Continuing Education Center, the Media Center, and the various colleges and their modern classrooms and various applied laboratories, in addition to the University Center for Oral and Dental Medicine and Surgery, the Clinical Skills Center, the Student Activity Office, and the gymnasium.
During his stop at the College of Information Technology, Dr. Arif Al-Nayed was keen to engage in in-depth discussions with the college students. He expressed his admiration for the level of students through the discussions and praised the importance and benefit of the general subjects taught by the university, such as: critical thinking and ethics, and their role in creating an effective and creative graduate, scientifically and morally.
Dr. Aref Ali Nayed, President of the Libya Academy for Advanced Studies, expressed his readiness to cooperate and achieve common goals between the Libya Academy for Advanced Studies and the Libyan International University for Medical Sciences, in various fields, such as training, development, education, and media, and the need to highlight the university’s distinguished and pioneering efforts.
