On Saturday, August 6, the Libya Academy for Advanced Studies organized a workshop on introducing the European Horizon Program to finance scientific research projects and innovation activities, in its hall in the city of Tripoli.
Presented by Dr. Majd Al-Din Al-Ghadhban, General Coordinator, Focal Points, Libya, European Horizon Program 2021-2027, the European Union’s research and innovation program, in the presence of a group of activists and interested parties.
The doctor presented an introductory overview of the European Union Research and Innovation Programme, its history, goals, achievements, and hopes. He also talked about the project areas proposed by this program to finance research and innovation. He also mentioned the criteria for accepting research projects in the European Programme, and what are the opportunities granted that he can benefit from. The Libyan researcher and innovator, and talked about the conditions and specifications of the researcher, and concluded by warning about the main steps in which the researcher prepares himself and works to complete his project with mastery and creativity.
