After the Consultative Meeting of scholars from the Sahel and the Sudan, organised by the African Conference for Peace, Dr Aref Ali Nayed (Chairman of the Libya Institute for Advanced Studies) and other meeting participants were hosted by His Excellency Sheikh Abdullah Bin Bayyah at his residence in Nouakchott, Mauritania.
