LIAS organized a meeting: Youth Between Reality and Ambition

The Libya Institute for Advanced Studies organized a meeting entitled: Youth between reality and ambition, on the Zoom platform, on December 19, 2020.

Engineer Labib Al-Ramli, Executive Director of the General Federation of Training Institutions in Libya, and President of the Bina Foundation for Human Development, spoke about the project: A youth vision for the future, youth between reality and ambition, which is a vision that resulted from an opinion poll conducted by the Al-Banna Foundation in the city of Benghazi.

The themes of this vision are:
The reality of our youth today is between loss of rights and waiting.

The international community and youth rights regulation.

The role of youth in reconstruction and state building

Professor Fayez Ali Bu Omran, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Al-Mesbar Development and Development Organization, also spoke.

Professor Ali Al-Mismari also spoke about youth and politics.

And Mr. Ahmed Abdel Fattah Al-Kaloush, Director of the Capacity Building Department at the Ministry of Labor and Rehabilitation.

Professor Riad: The necessity of reforming the education system and changing the form of the state to a “combined state.”

And engineer Ihab Al-Maqsabi from Washington, DC: Youth are the ones who create the future.

Mr. Haitham Bin Lamah: Youth, development, the state and their role.
