Yesterday, Saturday, in the city of Tripoli, in the hall of the Libya Academy for Advanced Studies, the Libya Academy for Advanced Studies organized an event on the Arabic language entitled: (In an Arabic Tongue).
The session included insights into the language, its meanings, its importance, its history, the compositions in and around it, and its relationship to the various cosmic sciences, ancient and modern.
The segments of this meeting varied, to include multiple activities: reading Qur’anic verses, listening to a story in Arabic, and introductions in a high language, in addition to a segment of public speaking in classical Arabic for participants to instill self-confidence and demonstrate skills, and listening to a distinctive cultural reportage, all of which included questions and encouraging prizes. All this with a diverse youth presence.
