LIAS Team Meeting with National Security Office at the White House
In light of the deadly shooting by armed militias on civilians during peaceful demonstrations in Tripoli on Friday, March 17, 2017, The team of Libya Institute for Advanced Studies (LIAS) organized an urgent meeting with Mr Walid Fares from the National Security Office at the White House. Accompanied with National Movement for Libya team. The meeting focused on Libyan demands to put an end to all armed militias and stressed on the urgent need for a strong Libyan army and police to protect the country.
